We collect vehicle registration details (license plate, make, model, color), contact phone numbers for alert delivery, and delivery addresses for physical sticker orders. We do not collect any personally identifiable information from people who scan QR codes.
Your phone number is used exclusively to send you anonymous alerts via WhatsApp when someone scans your vehicle's QR code. Delivery addresses are used solely for shipping physical QR stickers. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties.
VahanPing is designed to protect privacy for both vehicle owners and people contacting them. People who scan QR codes remain completely anonymous. Vehicle owners' personal details are never revealed to scanners.
All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Your phone number is stored securely and is never displayed publicly.
Vehicle registration data is retained as long as you maintain an active VahanPing account. You can delete your vehicle and associated data at any time through the app.
We use WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta) for sending notifications, Razorpay for payment processing, and Render/Vercel for hosting. Each of these services has their own privacy policies.
VahanPing is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
